Internship Policy & Code of Conduct

Roxonic Private Limited • Internship Governance Framework

1. Purpose & Philosophy

The Roxonic Internship Program is designed to cultivate industry-ready software engineers, system architects, and digital marketing leaders through immersive project contributions. This policy establishes the mutual commitments, code of conduct, intellectual property standards, and operational guidelines governing all enrolled interns.

2. Attendance & Check-In Guidelines
  • Daily Check-In & Check-Out: Interns must log their attendance daily via the Intern Portal at /intern/attendance. Geolocation and IP logs are recorded for compliance and remote accountability.
  • Working Hours: A minimum of 4 hours daily (20 to 30 hours weekly) is expected to maintain steady milestone progress.
  • Attendance Minimum: A cumulative attendance record of at least 85% of working days is mandatory to qualify for graduation and certificate issuance.
  • Leave Policy: Planned leaves must be submitted via the portal at least 24 hours in advance and require approval from the assigned mentor.
3. Milestone Deliverables & EOD Reports
  • Sprint Schedulers: Tasks are assigned via the portal by mentors with clear due dates, priority tiers, and acceptance criteria.
  • Daily EOD Progress: Interns must submit their brief End-of-Day (EOD) work summary and next-day action plan by 7:00 PM IST on working days.
  • Code Quality: Code submitted must adhere to PSR/clean coding standards, include descriptive Git commit messages, and undergo peer/mentor review before merging into production.
4. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure (NDA)

Enrolled interns may have access to proprietary client specifications, server access credentials, database schemas, and commercial strategies. Interns agree to maintain strict confidentiality and must never copy, transfer, leak, or share Roxonic intellectual assets outside approved organizational systems.

5. Intellectual Property (IP) Assignment

All software code, designs, documentation, data models, scripts, and creative assets produced by an intern during the course of their internship shall be deemed "work made for hire" and shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of Roxonic Private Limited or its designated clients. Interns are permitted to showcase high-level architecture summaries in their personal portfolios as approved by their mentor.

6. Performance Stipend Disbursement

Performance stipends (up to ₹15,000 per month) are evaluated based on sprint delivery metrics, task approval rates, attendance consistency, and initiative. Stipends are disbursed monthly following evaluation sign-off by the mentor and HR operations.

7. Certificate Issuance Criteria

To receive the verified certificate with digital QR verification:

  • Completion of full 3-month tenure from joining date.
  • Minimum 85% attendance record.
  • Successful approval of at least 80% of assigned sprint tasks.
